East Kalimantan – The Master of Technology Management (MMT) Study Program of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) continued its Graduate Program Roadshow and Outreach on 6–7 July 2026 across several government institutions in East Kalimantan. Entering its second week, the initiative reflects ITK’s commitment to expanding access to higher education information while introducing the Master of Technology Management program to civil servants (ASN) and professionals throughout the region.
The series of activities began on Monday (6/7) at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The event was officially opened by Rokip, Secretary of BKPSDM Kutai Kartanegara, who expressed his appreciation for the outreach program as an opportunity to enhance human resource competencies, particularly for civil servants within the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government.
On the same day, the MMT ITK team also conducted an online outreach session with participants gathered at the East Kalimantan Governor’s Office in Samarinda. The session was attended by Aji Vini Vayanti, Head of the Public Service Subdivision of the Bureau of Public Welfare (Kesra) of East Kalimantan Province, who welcomed the initiative as an effort to broaden access to graduate education for civil servants within the Provincial Government.
The roadshow continued on Tuesday (7/7) at the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of Bontang City. The event was officially opened by Ir. Agung Santoso, S.T., M.M., Secretary of the Bontang City PUPR Office, who expressed appreciation for ITK's initiative in offering a graduate program that supports the competency development of government personnel while contributing to regional development.
The outreach materials at each location were presented by Bima Prihasto, Coordinator of the Master of Technology Management Study Program at ITK. He introduced the study program, highlighted its academic strengths, and explained the role of MMT in addressing human resource development challenges in the era of digital transformation. The presentation was followed by the MMT ITK faculty members, who provided detailed information on the curriculum, learning methods, admissions process, and career prospects for graduates.
During the sessions, the MMT ITK team emphasized that the roadshow serves as a strategic initiative to broaden public access to graduate education information while strengthening collaboration with government institutions across East Kalimantan. The Master of Technology Management program is designed to produce graduates with competencies in technology management, innovation, and strategic decision-making to support organizational transformation and regional development.
Throughout the activities, participants received comprehensive information regarding the curriculum, flexible learning system, admission procedures, and career opportunities after graduation. The discussion and question-and-answer sessions were highly interactive, reflecting strong enthusiasm and interest in the graduate program offered by ITK.
Through the implementation of this second-week roadshow, ITK aims to further strengthen its partnership with local governments in supporting the development of high-quality human resources in East Kalimantan. Beyond introducing the Master of Technology Management program to prospective students, the initiative also demonstrates ITK’s commitment to providing adaptive, high-quality graduate education that aligns with regional development priorities and the challenges of digital transformation.
