FSTI Holds Academic Orientation to Welcome New Master of Technology Management Students

Friday, August 15, 2025, the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Industry (FSTI) at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) held an Academic Orientation for new students of the Master of Technology Management (MMT) program. The hybrid event took place in Room A307, Building A, and served as an important moment to officially welcome the new postgraduate students.

The event was opened by the Rector of ITK Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., accompanied by the Vice-Rector and the Dean of FSTI Adi Mahmud Jaya Marindra, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. In their remarks, they expressed great hope for the new students' success and significant contributions during their studies. The main session was then led by the MMT Program Coordinator, who provided a comprehensive presentation on the program's profile and curriculum.

Through this orientation, students received crucial information to support their academic journey, including:

  • The use of the Academic Management Information System (SIM) and Learning Management System (LMS), which are key platforms for accessing course materials, schedules, and other academic information.
  • Integrated laboratory services and library facilities, which serve as vital resources for research and academic activities.
  • Other academic support services available at ITK, ensuring students receive the help they need.

The event's primary goal was to help new students adapt and prepare for their postgraduate studies. With a better understanding of the available systems and services, students are expected to make optimal use of ITK's facilities and achieve academic success in the Master of Technology Management Program.
