Balikpapan, August 17, 2024 – The Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) kicked off their 10th Anniversary celebration with great enthusiasm following the commemoration of Indonesia's Independence Day. With the theme "A Decade Living in the Neo Moment," the event blended warmth and festivity in an unforgettable atmosphere. The chosen theme reflects ITK's ten-year journey, emphasizing the institution's commitment to continuous adaptation and innovation in the modern era.

In his speech, the Chairman of ITK's 10th Anniversary expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to ITK's development, including faculty, students, and staff. This was followed by a heartfelt address from Prof. Erma Suryani, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., ITK’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. Prof. Suryani highlighted the pride in ITK’s achievements and expressed hopes for an even brighter future.

The event continued with the cutting of the ribbon and the unveiling of the 10th Anniversary opening ceremony logo, officially marking the start of the celebrations. A flag parade, accompanied by a marching band, added to the excitement, showcasing ITK's five departments in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The flag parade took on a solemn tone during the handover of flags to each department, adding a sense of reverence to the event.
