On February 3, 2025, Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) held an Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony at the Auditorium Labter ITK. This event marked an important milestone in the development of ITK’s organizational structure, with the appointment of several new officials who will undertake vital roles across various departments within the campus.

The ceremony, attended by the ITK academic community, saw the appointment of numerous key officials to fill strategic positions within the institution. Among the newly inaugurated positions were:

1. 5 Heads of General Subsections 
2. 1 Secretary of the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute
3. 1 Secretary of the Research and Community Service Institute
4. 1 Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs at the Faculty of Science and Information Technology
5. 1 Head of UPA TIK (Asset Management and IT Department)
6. 4 Program Study Coordinators
7. 17 Members of the Institute Senate
8. 13 Members of the Senate of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology
9. 12 Members of the Senate of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology
10. 12 Members of the Senate of the Faculty of Sustainable Development
11. 13 Heads of Centers within the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute
12. 17 Heads of Centers within the Research and Community Service Institute
13. 2 Senior Lecturer Functional Positions

The inauguration was an essential step for ITK in strengthening its leadership structure and ensuring that all units work collaboratively to achieve the institution's goals and mission. The newly appointed officials took their oath to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, professionalism, and a high level of commitment.

In his speech, the Rector of ITK expressed his great expectations for the new appointees to bring positive changes and make significant contributions toward advancing ITK in the future. This inauguration also aims to strengthen collaboration across units and create an environment that supports the achievement of ITK's academic and research objectives.
